Product Overview

The Vent‑Axia Svara 100 mm Lo‑Carbon Smart Extractor Fan (409802) is a highly capable axial extractor fan, designed for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. Its 100 mm (4-inch) duct size makes it compatible with standard installations, and it’s part of the Lo-Carbon range meaning it emphasises energy efficiency and low operational cost. The unit operates on a DC motor consuming as little as 4 W in trickle mode, thereby minimising running costs.

One of the key features of this model is its smart control via Bluetooth using the manufacturer’s app. Through the app you can configure a range of functions: select between continuous or intermittent operation, set up the humidistat to trigger high-flow when humidity rises (for example during a shower), activate the light sensor for automatic boost when someone enters the room, define silent hours when boost is disabled, and even enable a “holiday purge” mode every 12 hours. The built-in humidistat raises the extraction to roughly 30 l/s when humidity spikes, dropping to around 10 l/s when levels normalise.

Another strong selling point is its quiet operation and flexible installation. On low trickle mode it runs at around 17 dB(A), making it virtually silent for most environments. The fan is IP44 rated (suitable for zone 2 in bathrooms) and can be mounted on the wall, ceiling or panel. In addition, the front module can be easily removed for cleaning, which is a helpful maintenance feature. Overall, this model presents a modern, smart, low-energy solution for domestic ventilation.
